Reviews and Ratings
The rooms were clean and comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed, although not entirely in line with the QT style. The service was professional and delightful, with some minor issues regarding accessing the room without prior consultation. The location was perfect, close to various attractions and dining options, including walking tracks around the lake. The dining experience was a mix of excellent food quality but understaffed service during peak times. The hotel's facilities were generally good, with some room for improvement in cleanliness.
The hotel provided a good-sized room with a balcony, allowing for fresh air instead of relying on air conditioning, but unfortunately, external noise from traffic disrupted our sleep. Despite being located next to a noisy lift, the room itself was spacious and had a good shower. The service was accommodating, even assisting with early check-in, although the noise from the useless mini bar items was a downside. The location was convenient, with construction nearby affecting taxi access slightly, but it was still ideal for our Canberra getaway. The dining experience was enjoyable, offering a variety of food options, but the lack of cheese variety and pork sausages were minor disappointments. Facilities were adequate for our needs during our stay.
The hotel is conveniently located close to key landmarks, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The rooms come with all the modern conveniences of a QT hotel, including a cozy sofa bed and a well-appointed space, but the lack of space through a door made entertaining a challenge. While the car park can be crowded with no guaranteed space, the hotel offers a comfortable stay with a touch of luxury.
